In addition, we provide PC/Server Computing, Thin Clients Computing Solutions, Printing & Imaging Solutions and Managed Services. Further we have a specialized team managing Unmanned Aircraft Vehicle systems (UAV), which make us a complete end-to-end IT Services Integrator in the market.

Our Directors

Sumathi IT team is guided by a number of well experienced, seasoned professionals in the industry.

He is the Chairman cum Managing Director of the Sumathi Holdings (Pvt) Ltd spearheading all 8 diversified industries including Information Technology, Retail Trade, Health Care, Hospitality, Investment, Hydro Power, Film Industry and Security. His journey at Sumathi Holdings spans across 20+ years which has led the group becoming one of the progressive Conglomerates in Sri Lanka.

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Management from Curtin University Perth, Australia and joined Sumathi Holdings in March 2017. He is the eldest son of Mr. Jagath Sumathipala and currently the Executive Director overlooking the IT Sector of the Group. He is currently spearheading the Group of Companies to be at the forefront of Technology and infuse transformation across the group through tech advancements.

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting & Marketing from Monash University Melbourne, Australia and he joined Sumathi Holdings in July 2018. He is the youngest son of Mr. Jagath Sumathipala and directly oversees the Hospitality and Corporate Services Sectors in the Group and focuses on Business Growth Strategies of Sumathi Holdings..

Gerald is a veteran who carries 26+ years of Experience in the IT Industry. He worked at well known companies such as KBSL, EWIS and culminating over 13 years at Cisco systems with 4+ years as its Country Manager for Sri Lanka and the Maldives.

Sharanka has 22+ years of IT Industry experience, starting with a stint as a Software Developer, then a tenure at IBM World Trade Corporation Sri Lanka Branch, as a Presales Specialist and as a Sales & Brand Manager for IBM then finally as Head of Sales at KBSL.

Sivasankar has over 16 years of experience in the ICT industry. Started his Engineering career in the Telco’s where he’s held various roles at Telecom operators. Later moved to the Systems Integrator space by joining KBSL. During his tenure, KBSL won many awards and recognitions.
