These roles will be responsible for establishing and building relationships at our key clients, from junior level all the way up to CXO level. They will represent Sumathi IT at these clients and as such should well mannered, well spoken, outgoing, articulate, reliable, honest, and enthusiastic.

The selected candidates will be spending a lot of time at client locations and will take ownership of issues and challenges on behalf of our clients to address and resolve them by leveraging the extended SIT team.

Qualifications and expectations:

– A degree in ICT or equivalent professional qualification is preferred, but not mandatory.

– Building a high value opportunity pipeline by understanding client requirements and translating them into project opportunities that the SIT team can address.

– A quantifiable track record of sales achievements, preferably in the ICT sector is desirable.

– Building client perception of Sumathi IT and taking proactive remedial steps in the event of issues to maintain client satisfaction is expected.

Successful applicants will be responsible for activities carried out before a customer is acquired. Presales Consultants will be required to work closely with sales, service, engineering, and technical support resources to ensure proposed deals include technical solutions that address customer needs.

Qualifications:

– A minimum of 5 years of ICT technical or engineering experience

– Customer facing exposure and experience will be a plus

– A degree or equivalent professional qualification is preferred, but not mandator

Job Role expectations:

– Developing solutions and organising, planning, creating & delivering compelling proof of concept demonstrations

– Ensuring solutions stated in the Statement of Work are best practice and in line with client requirements

– Managing the sales bid process by responding to RFI’s & RFP’s

– Working closely with Sales to ensure successful closure of the sales process

– Liaising with Principal Vendors to provide feedback from clients about product requirements.

– Keeping abreast of market trends and product & competitor landscapes

This role will be responsible for supporting the Customer facing teams to achieve their objectives, and will involve fulfilling the following duties amongst other responsibilities:

– Preparing and sending quotations for opportunities of defined scope and limited complexity

– Read and understand tender documents, and prepare the necessary proposal documentation accordingly – this may involve preparing files and envelopes appropriately labelled, printing data sheets, raising bid bonds, attaching company profile information and marketing collateral, etc.

– Maintain a well-stocked stationery cupboard on behalf of the teams and re-order when necessary.

– Ensure the delivery and receipt of tenders and other documents through courier in a timely manner.

– Undertake customer procurement registrations and other paperwork.

– Help arrange meetings, refreshments, functions, etc.

– Assist the sales teams with documentation and backend paperwork to release them for customer facing duties.

Qualifications and expectations:

– An excellent command of English, both verbal and written.

– Prior work relevant experience not required but will be a plus.

– A minimum of 2 years work experience.

– The ability to keep to timelines and attention to detail will be essential in performing well in this role.

• Degree in Telecommunication, Computer, IT, Electrical or Electronics Engineering from a reputed University. 
• Mid-level Networking vendor certifications such as CCNP or JNCIP 
• 5+ years of experience in designing, deploying and supporting Enterprise Networks 
• Have a clear understanding of the latest trends in Networking such as SDN and SDWAN
